The project will add one lane in each direction to Interstate 215, creating three northbound lanes and three southbound lanes within this six-mile section of freeway. When completed, the project will reduce traffic congestion and delays, improve connections between Riverside and San Diego Counties, enhance goods movement and decrease air pollution from cars that now sit idle on the freeway.  Construction began spring of 2011 and is expected to last about 16 months. Throughout construction, remember to Slow for the Cone Zone!
